I’m Amy Hebert, a photographer and storyteller based in Austin, Texas.

For years I’ve been surrounded by sports — on pool decks, sidelines, and in the stands — watching the moments where competition, family, and community collide. Those environments shaped the way I photograph. I’m drawn to the emotion of sport: the focus before the start, the intensity in the moment, and the connection that forms between athletes, teammates, and the people cheering for them.

Through Apple Turkey Photography, I’ve built a brand focused on capturing authentic moments for athletes, families, and couples. My work centers on storytelling — images that reflect not just what happened, but what it felt like to be there.

Outside of photography, I’ve spent years involved in youth athletics in the Austin community. I’ve organized swim meets, supported high school water polo programs, coached youth sports, and spent countless hours supporting young athletes as they chase big goals. Those experiences give me a unique perspective on the culture and community that surround sports.

I live in Austin with my husband Tim and our three kids, and much of our life revolves around athletics, competition, and the communities that form around them.

For me, photography is about capturing the moments that matter — the ones athletes, families, and fans remember long after the final whistle.
